BADIA DELLA VALLE

The organic holiday farm "Vossemole", located at the ancient site of Val D'Acereto Abbey (XI Century) has carried out a substantial refurbishment to preserve the history and tradition of the valley. The Abbey was built by St. Peter Damian in the Camaldolese style in 1053 and is associated with the remote hermitage of Gamogna. Today, the hermitage has been completely restored and it is the destination for tourists and pilgrims alike. The farm accommodation has two independent apartments ("Chestnut" and "Oak") each with traditional antique furniture. The "CHESTNUT" room is furnished with an open plan kitchen, a dining area with a sofa bed, a fireplace and a separate twin room (with en suite bathroom). The "OAK" room is also furnished with an open plan kitchen, a dining area with sofa, a separate room (twin bed), a bathroom and a romantic "mezzanine" for 2 people. Both apartments have independent gas central heating and in each of the twin bedrooms it is possible to add a cot or a small bed. Children up to 6 years of age are free and from 6 to 12 years pay 50% of the adult tariff. Discounts are available for long term stays. Our guests can taste healthy seasonal dishes surrounded by the warmth atmosphere of a fireplace during winter season. The menus change on a monthly basis and propose the typical receipts of the traditional cuisine of Romagna and Tuscany. During summer after experiencing interesting excursions offered by the territory, the breeze of the Apennines’ guides travellers along the tasteful paths of Badia’s menus in the smooth shadow of the hay-fold.
