Flight

The Collina Airfield is located about 2 km from the centre of Borgo San Lorenzo, nestled in the green valley of Mugello. In this scenic corner of the region, you can see tourist planes, ultralight aircraft, and gliders in action.

Two flight schools operate here: the A.S.D. “Aldo Modi” Flying School, specialised in Sport and Recreational Flying (VDS), and the Gliding School, dedicated to sailplanes.

It is the perfect place for those who wish to discover Mugello from the sky, spend a day in the open air, and enjoy a tasty snack while taking in breathtaking views. Activities are mainly offered on weekends and public holidays to ensure the best possible experience.
