Great historic country house, the Villa Corsini delle Mozzete is located in the Mugello valley and is 24 km from Florence, 10 from the Barberino motorway (A1) and 6 km from the Ferrari Racetrack.
The Mozzete are the extension of a “Longobarda” tower of the sixth century, which was part of the County Ubaldinis and that was cut off in the late Middle Ages, thus giving the name to the villa. The Medici family built it in the fourteenth century and used the property as a granary in the employ of Villa Caffaggiolo and the Fortress of San Piero a Sieve.
The villa has a park of 40,000 m² , with centuries-old trees including a Cedar of Lebanon cataloged as one of the 100 most beautiful trees in Italy and a large lawn which overlooks the consecrated Chapel.
